Reduce Engine Power
A month ago, I broke down and had my TAC module replaced because of REP/STS messages on the DIC for several months. The REP is a frightening thing when your on the interstate in the "fast" lane. Driving a vette at 45mph in the right hand lane is an embarrassing experience.
So, following the TAC module replacement, all was fine until last weekend, when the same problems started occuring. I drove the car directly back to the dealer. This time, the technican tested the accellerator pedal and said that pots were bad which will cost over $400 to get fixed.
I repeatedly asked if the OEM Delco battery was ok and they said it was fine. This tech is supposed to be the best in the Cinci area.
I think I'm going to replace the battery with an Optima very soon.
I hate paying "corvette taxes"......
