I have yet to do any kind of induction system mod to my C5, (K&N,or other brand). I'm still "stock". I was fortunate enough to receive a rather unique ram air system from one of our other members, slightly used, but, still very useable. Thanks Stu!!!. The system is similiar to the BPP Vortex design, K&N filter in a box mounted to the radiator front shroud. I'ld have to cut the shroud to make this work....not a problem. The trouble is, it's a "bottom feeder" system (read, hydro-lock in the future).I'ld like to make it a "front feeder" if possible, similiar to the Vararam system. I need to connect two 3 or 4 inch ducts to the filter box (no problem). But, the other end needs to be connected to the front "inlet scoops" where the fog lights are. Does anybody make a fog light "surround" that a duct can be hooked to? Thanks guys for your help.......... Jim
From the vette shop, its just a stock piece with a hole cut out and a screen put in, im sure you could do the same yourself, good luck with your project and let us know how it goes for you!
