Default tire ???'s

I just inspected my front tires and noticed that the LF is down to the threads/cords on the first inch of tire. It has pleanty of tread left on the rest of the tire.

Has anyone had this problem?
aligment?

Should I replace them with ???

Default Same thing

Bought mine last summer with 20K miles on it...inside of both front tires worn out with tread on the outside....Both were almost identical so i have to assume somebody at the factory or elsewhere really did a Job on the camber. Put a New set of Pirelli's Zero Nero A/S (softer ride, better on wet roads)on and they ride great...Will probably do the same to the back cause the goodyear run flats are noisy and hard IMO.

Looks Nice!

Did you have an aligment done on it too?

Yes, I had the same problem. It's an alignment issue that went too far.

I replaced mine with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Runflats.

I always rotated my tires when I got the oil changed about every 2k and got great tire life even though I tend to exceed the speed limits on the four-leaf-clovers.

But faced with directional tires I have resorted to a 4 wheel alignment every 6 months for $85 with free adjustments for 6 months and buying my tire guy a digital pressure gauge that I checked against the readout on my dash. I make it a point to stop in for a pound or two of air when needed.

So now after 23k I have very even wear across my front tires but a lot of wear. They are at a point where I would normally replace them but I feel shorted about 10k of use.

Does anyone know if the Run Flats wear faster than the standard ZR Eagles? My guy says my tires list for about $1900 and he can sell them to me for about $1600. I love the tires but not the price in so short a time. Has anyone gotten more miles or is this it? Are there better handling longer lasting tires than the Run Flats?

At 12,000 miles my front tires are shot. Had terrible wear on insides, had her alinged and now they are all but bald. Back tires have lots of wear left. Considering how I drive this car I'd expect it to be the other way arround....

Strange.
