Anyone done a great looking install on an XM radio with the aftermarket "Roady" or "Roady XT"?
Mine is hanging from the center AC vent right now and is in dire need a a better home . I keep looking at the area where the ashtray and lighter are located, but haven't figured out exactly how to tackle it yet.
Hoping to hear / see some cool installs.

dont think the roady series will fit in the ashtray. about the only one i know of is the xm commander. very little trimming, and looks like it was made to fit inside the ashtray. besides, nobody needs to smoke in a corvette anyway -
reference the audio section, plenty of installs there - do a search
Not to hijack the thread, but does XM still offer a price reduction to renew service? Mine is about to expire. If so, does anyone have the #? Seem to recall something about a Retention offer. Thanks.

if i'm understanding you're question, they (xm) offered a package about a year ago. the deal was when the service went from $9.95 to $12.95 /month, existing customers could lock in lower rates for some period of time - 1 year to 5 years, and the price/month varied according to the length of service you wanted. i locked mine in for 5 years at something like $8.33 month ($500 for 60 months of service). the only problem was, you had to pay for it up front - in one big payment. i didn't care, since i really enjoy sat radio.
