C5 Birthdate?????

C5 Birthdate?????
Ok called the stealership and had them look up the date when my car officially drove off the assembly line! He advised me the computer shows him that the body was scanned 5/31/99, then he told me that the car was scanned again 6/11/99. And last date was when they officially sold it 7/12/99 . The big question is when did it come off the line 5/31/99 or 6/11/99, and why was it scanned twice?????? Any help would be appriciated!!!!!

I have no earthly idea what the guy is looking at and I don't think he does either. Have him inquire the GM Vehicle Inquiry System (VIS) and print out your car's CLAIM HISTORY and VEHICLE BUILD info. The VEHICLE BUILD section will show the Build Date and it will be preceded by the words "Build Date".
If he still can't find it, post a request for your car's history/build info along with your VIN here in C5 General. Several folks here have access to GM's VIS and hopefully one of them will be along to help you.
