[Z06] Rear Steer Z06?!?!?!
It seems like my Z06 is steering itself from the rear when I transition from throttle to coasting. That is, it's almost like the rear of the car moves slightly from one side to the other during the transition.
I don't recall this issue prior to getting my axle seal replaced a couple months ago(drivers side). I did the old 'grab either side of the tire and try to rock it' trick tonight; pass. side is tight. Did the same on the drivers side and I'll be darned if there isn't a little play(for and aft, not up and down). I believe this play would cause the exact symptom I'm experiencing.
Now, is it possible that a tie rod wasn't tightened properly during the re-assembly after the seal replacement? Wheel bearing(I am guessing they are seal units, but not positive)? There is clearly play, but I can't see where it is coming from. Has anyone had this problem? Would a H/C package somehow exaggerate this issue? Thanks in advance

Yes it is the classic toe change power of ot power on usually it's a worn part. However in your case it may be that the tie rod end was either damaged (when removing & reinstalling) or not seated & torqued properly. It is possible that the wheel bearing & hub isn't seated or torqued either I'm nor sure if they removed it.
BTW the hub & bearing is sealed (like theC4)
