LS1 ~ LS6 Engine Swap In Progress
Good luck with the install and keep us updated when you get it back on the road..
I do understand your situation,in hawaii it's tuff for tunning also. But at least i can get parts.I gotta give you 2 thumbs up for staying with the vette in a euro world..I would be right there cruising with ya bro...Still talk to Urbman?I pass thru the other site, but gave up the mod duties,it's alot of work babysitting all the threads etc,i don't have that kind of time anymore.I just like to browse the sections that interest me now.And by checking two sites, that much more knowledge and ideas to explore.Nothing personal against them.
Maybe you can post a couple new vids after your project is dialed in and broke in..I watched Urbmans 190 + miles mph video.
Seems to me your long tubes/exhaust should bolt right in.
Reguarding your exhaust question, the only snag i can think of,is our 99s only have 2 cats, but since you have a long tube header kit, should bolt right up to your new LS6.
Laterz bro..
! I kow Texas is big, but for me being here in Germany it's just down the road
!Yes, I've thought about taking pics too. . . now all I have to do is see how the Chevy/GM Dealer in Darmstadt, Germany (that's where my Vette is currently located) feels about it. Somtimes littel things like that turn out to be a big deal over here. I'll have to check.
I would do it myself, but there's this thing call "WORK" I have to deal with too
. I'm about an hours drive from the dealer in Darmstadt, so for me to do the pic taking I would have to take the day off of work (which, now that I think about just may be an option
). I'll keep you posted on how things are going. Righ now I'm just trying to get my engine over here.More to follow. . . . .

! Not giving my age away
. . . I spent 27 years in the Army 1962-1990; retired in 1990 in Wiesbaden and have been working as a contractor ever since. . right now here in Heidelberg for HQUSAREUR/7A G3.Yeah, I'm an old fart, but still have "A Need For Speed"
