Need A New Alternator?
well the battery is about a year old and in its life span I have only had to jump it twice due to leaving the light on like an idiot but i think yesterday was the last straw. I had to jump it, i drove to work then it wouldnt start again so I jumped it to go back home, then I got home and it started very very weak and now the car wont start at all it just clicks like it REALLY wants to start. Anyone have any idea how much a new alternator will run me?

Need to test it first or have it tested. My experience with lead-acid batteries is that once you deep-cycle them once, they are never as they were new. MUCH weaker. Take to an Autozone and have them test both.
