I am trying to remove my cd changer because I sold it and I can't remove the wiring without taking out a bunch of wires that I still need since they are wrapped together. Can I just cut the connector that went into the cd changer and attach that to the other end with fresh wire? Does anyone know what the other end I need to cut off looks like???
No problem to disconnect. I sold my changer last year. Just disconnect the coupler from the changer from the wire harness. I am presumming this was original equipment. Took about ten minutes as you have to unbolt the changer.

Dolen,
I told the guy I would include the harness.
I don't understand what you are telling me to do though. I have the changer out of the car but I can't take the harness out because it controls the hatch opening, the lights in the trunk, the rear speakers etc. What should I do?
