Just an idea, I don't even know if you can. I always see the outside back part of the C5R lights painted. Why not build a guard or bezel to cover the back part of the projector and paint the inside and leave the plastic clear. It would look like a C6 headlight then. Is it possible? Also is it just me or does it look like the plastic on C5R lights get cloudy or foggy fast. Almost so you can't see the projectors. I don't have them so I might be wrong, just an observation.

You can't paint the inside, cause there is no inside. It's just the guts. There is a small "flap" between the projectors but that is it. Somebody would have to make or mold a piece to cover the guts. Even still I don't think it will look as good as it sounds.
this winter i plan on takin my kit apart and painting the underside of the lexan covers. this way, any road chips would not chip up the paint.
i also thought, how about a big vinyle sticker over the top of the lense... no rock chips... just a thought...
