Default New FRC long post

Well I bought my new to me 1999 FRC Pewter Corvette. I started searching in July of this year. It's a 20,500 mile car in beautiful condition. I have been waiting to mention it til I got some miles on it and felt comfortable with it, I do and I love it.
I bought it at Banks Chevrolet in Concord, NH a great experience with honest people. The salesman was Mike Vaillancourt and I highly recommend both him and the Dealership.
I want to Thank the members of the Forum who helped with Carfax and GM Records, you guys were great. I bought the GMPP Warranty and got a great price again with the help of Forum members.
This Forum is Invaluable with all kinds of details, information and advice.
I had originally wanted a 1996 to upgrade from my C-4 1986 Z-51. After looking at a few I decided that my 1986 was pretty much the same as a newer one so I switched to a C-5. As I looked I began to move toward a FRC. After a few that I was close to buying I found this one advertised on Auto Trader by Banks Chevrolet, I made an offer ,it was accepted and off I went to New Hampshire.
I drove it back, 280 miles and loved every mile, with the exception of the Check Gauge Light, Empty Tank Guage and Low Fuel Warning every 10 minutes. When I reached home that was resolved with a search on the Forum that lead to Techron and 2 stroke oil.
Pictures will follow, when I figure out how to.

BTW anybody want to buy a Silver and Grey late 1986 Z-51 Coupe. I know I am going to miss it but just no room and Too Many toys.

Congrats - silver is a great color. You need to park your pics somewhere on the interweb and then use the IMG tag to post pics.

Barrier,

To add a pic first upload the picture to one of the free pic hosting websites (I use www.photobucket.com), or your own website if you have one. The free account is quick to setup. Once you upload your pictures it will give you the URL address of the picture. Copy the URL's of the pictures you want to add to this thread.

Next, when editing your initial post, select the insert image button (yellow with mountains at the bottom of it). This will bring up another window and you paste the URL of your picture there. Next preview your post and it should now have your picture in it.
