Damn bro, I thought I was the only one that stayed up this late.

I take it you decided to go with the 19's instead of the gear swap?

I'm sure you'll get some responses later today.

Here are my wheels, in 18x8.5 and 19x10. No fitment issues whatsoever.

Give either Nate at Corvette Garage or Matt at Corvettes of Houston a call. They can answer all your questions. I don't think you need any spacers if you buy the wheels that are made for the C5.

I have GM C6 wheels with the C6 offset and they seem to fit fine...they are a little tight on the back of the wheel. When its lifted the inside of the wheel/tire slightly touches the back of wheel well as the tire/wheel hangs down and goes inward. But other wise they have never touched. I put some pics below:

The tires are Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 245/40/18 front and 285/35/19

Hey Jerome,

Im trying to do the same thing... looking for C6 motorsport wheels and probably in 18-19 inch combo. I've a huge thread going on that, check it out. Only problem is that if they not GM factory rims, and are reproduction rims (which they usually are), then you'd have to sacrifice the quality. They reproduction rims are definitely heavier, and add to the unsprung weight to the wheels. I have Magnesium rims, which are supposed to be the lightest C5 wheels. I'm still debating whether I should go for looks or performance.... (for wider rims, I'm also considering Z06 rims. Wish they made them in chrome)

Let me know what you find out...
