Seems like Jay knows that all corvettes are not red! He picked a good color.

I know he also has a MY Z06 that's pretty heavily modded, Tigershark bodywork, etc.
Edit: He also wrote a magazine article a couple of years ago describing the experience of renting a 'vette in Germany and driving on the Autobahn.

I'm not surprised at this. Jay, during some of his televised interviews about his cars, admits to using C5 parts in many of his cars. He cut and welded 2 C5 frames to go under his fiberglass replica Olds Toronado for the SEMA show. He spoke about a steam car that he drives as well, and it uses C5 brakes... plus another big, old, heavy car that looks stock, but has C5 guts, and pushes over 1000 hp at the rear wheels...
He seems to have a ton of respect for the C5!

True but the C5s that he bought for his Toronado were write offs and then used the frame and running gear

From everything you read and hear, Jay is the real deal... very down-to-earth and humble... add to that he is a REAL car guy and you can't go wrong...
He's always been cool enough for me...
