Code Searching...
Pretty easy questions I hope. I got a P00442 in the 10-PCM DIC code. I did some searching but could't find what it was. Is this serious or is this the infamous gas code?

I just had my rack and pinion replaced yesterday, if it is not the gas cap, could they have knocked a hose loose? From what I have found it is an exploratory process to find a leak if there is one, but has anyone else had this? Estimation of cost? I still have not found a direct link for that code for the C5. Other cars on the net have posted codes like this and it states that its an EVAP problem, is this still the case with the C5?
You can see my frustration, seeing as how it was just in the shop, any other hints or suggestions would be helpful.

EVAP System small leak detected.....
I'd look around and see if you can find a vacuum line knocked loose or dried out and cracked.
You might also have you gas cap checked....
