Default "corvette chief steps down"

Autoweek, nov 7th issue;in their "flash section"...dave hill, chief engineeer for the chevrolet corvette and executive in charge of performance cars at general motors, will retire jan. 1st,2006,after more than 41 years of service.hill, who in 1993 became just the third chief engineer for the corvette, led the development of the C5 and C6 corvettes, the cadillac XLR roadster and the C6-based Z06.hill will be replaced bytom wallace, the lead engineer for gm's small and midsize trucks."...i think there should be a "sticky" for all to wish dave and his wife the very best in their retirement.for sure,he gave us his very best with two absolutely fantastic models of a timeless american icon.

I just purchased ( June 2005) a 99 vette and went to Corvette at Carlisle. This was all new to me. During my visit Mr. Hill was there and what a gentleman. He autograhed my new hat and I was thrilled. Now after telling all my buddies about it he is leaving! Oh well! By the way I would like to get some feedback on a reccommendation given to me by a local vette mechanic at the chevy dealer. He says that by replacing my stock fuel injectors with performance ones i would see an increase in performance at the local strip. Keep in mind I am not racing this too often only occasionally for fun with my son. I have replaced my intake manifold with a gm performance one, new bbk throttle body, granatelli Mass air sensor, borla exhaust, K&N dual air intake, 160 degree thermostat. What the opinion out there, do you agree with replacing the injectors
