Default Tbyrne - Terrible Do Not Use Them

Good day all,

We placed an order for an exhaust system (CORSA) over 4 weeks ago, and still to date nothing. Order placed on Oct 17th

After calling them weekly their response is:
"As of today we don't have any update, and we don’t know when it will arrive to our location” Additionally, there demeanor isn’t customer friendly either…

Amazing.... (PS- they charged our card, of course)

We contacted CORSA directly and they told us that TBYRNE hasn’t placed an order for the part as of today. Per CORSA; delivery is 3-4 days to their distributors once the order is placed.

Quite frankly; I wouldn’t use or refer anyone to this company consisting of incompetent people who aren’t helpful, and continue to lie to their customers.

I thought using an approved vendor from Corvette Forum would have been a smooth transaction.

Approved vendors should be looked into from time to time.

Sincerely,
99Vert

Thanks for the heads up. They are now officially on my black list.

Also, for everyone out there, add PFYC.com to your 'avoid list' also.

I wouldn't write them off so fast (either of them) I have had dealings with both and never had a problem and was very satisfied. That being said, you should try to get in touch with Tom himself and see what he says about this.

Sorry to hear about your issue... A couple years back I encountered a very similar issues when purchasing Eradispeeds from them. A tht etime the vendor was backed up. However, they told me they had the brakes (two sets) were in stock. Well this went on for over three months AND my credit card was charged the day of the order. When I requested a full refund I was told I would be charged a restocking fee. How do you restock something not in stock?

Not cool and I vowed never to deal with them again.

Some folks here have had good experiences with them so perhaps we are the unlucky ones...

Best of luck!

Default Blacklist Them!

Keep in mind that I was told 2-3 weeks MAX. Therefore I had the rear of my car replaced with the tiger shark rear.

Now I cannot drive my baby (stock exhaust had to be removed); and paying for a rental car daily...

I asked for the supervisor twice and was hung up on..

I attempt to use a 'mom and pop' store to purchase items daily; being a small business owner myself, customer service is important... but not with these guys..

BLACKLIST THEM!

Everytime I have checked their prices they have been high. Even when they offer GP pricing they are higher than others.

Hmmm...

I bought my Corsa's through them on a GP a few months ago and understood that it would be a few weeks until delivered. They charged my card, as they said they would at the end of the GP period and delivered as promised about 3 weeks later.

The wait was hard, but they did deliver as promised.

I have never dealt with TByrne...but I had a great experience ordering my exhaust from PFYC. I ordered it, they had it to UPS the next day, it arrived 2 days later as expected.

That wouldnt make any sence.. I mean we are all here to help each other out.. I see no reason for a lock of thread. People seem to have issues as you can see, its about time someone informed the correct parties involved and rectified the situation.

This is EXACTLY what happened to me last year. After they gave me the "Shipping Delay" BS excuse, I called LAPD and they called B&B on the other line. B&B stated they had the exhausts in stock, and hadnt received an order from them.
I then called Tbryne and told them to cancel my order, and they tried to charge me a re-stocking charge on an exhaust that was never ordered.
Amazingly, later that day Tbryne called me and said the exhaust was ready to ship.

Since then, I have spent in excess of $25,000.00 with forum vendors(about 14,000.00 worth of ONLINE PARTS that Tbryne sells). They have never, and WILL NEVER get another dime of my money...

I wish the person who posted this thread left his name so I knew who he is. Without that I can't tell him anything about this order. We see regular shipments from Corsa but again, without knowing his name I have nothing to say. This person can contact me on the phone or by e-mailing tbyrne@tbyrne.com. Please put Attn: Tom in the subject.

For the "Black List Group" you guys really need to calm down. Really no reason to jump on a bandwagon and try to start hanging. At some point every vendor would be on the black list because at some point a transaction might not be perfect. Taking this a step further, all of you would probably be out of a job because I don't think everyone is 110% perfect and has not made a mistake. You should be fired for that right?

Once I have the customer's name I'll take a look into his order for him and make sure he is taken care of.

EDIT: Note that the customers order has not be charged it is has only been 3 weeks since the order was placed.

Have a good weekend!
Tom

Why do you charge a customers card before you ship. That is the worst red flag there is. Also do you charge restocking fees for product you never had or shipped.
Are all of these other people lying?

Waiting for your answer.

You are right about one thing, I would be out of a job if I treated customers like that. You guys gave me the runaround with your price match policy, and when I tried to quote you your own policy, the attitude I got was not good. Guess what you're fired.

P.S. I didn't get "Tom" or anybody else to call me back or respond. I guess I should have bitched on this forum.

Which part of he has not been charged did you not understand?

Our policies are clearly stated on our website and also on the online order form. You will find that they are simular to that of most other vendors. Our restocking fee is also less than some. I've discussed the restocking fee thing in the past so no need for me to get into it here. There is also no reason for it to be brought up here because it has nothing to do with this order. There is actually nothing else that needs to be discussed about this order here. You doctor doesn't discuss your medical situation with everyone in the waiting room

I've been in contact with the customer this afternoon.

Have a good weekend!

Sorry, but as a new c5 owner and an addicted mod-a-holic, hearing these several bad takes on TByrne has convinced me to never trust my money with them. Back when I had my T/A, I always trusted Thunder Racing for the way I was treated, and will continue to.
