I'm thinking of running Sea Foam through my engine using the vacuum port at the brake booster. My worry is that I may foul out my new Iridium spark plugs. I plan to change the oil and filter afterwards. Instructions on the can does not mention anything about the changing of oil or plug fouling. Any input please. Thanks.

Oil change is only necessary when you add it to the crankcase.
It is possible that fouling of plugs and oxygen sensors may occur...
but not necessarily...

Thanks for the info, I have read on the forum to change oil immediately after running all the smoke out after sitting up for 12 hours. Also some say to change spark plugs after. The instructions on the can is all together different. It says pour in vacuum port while engine is running. shut down engine let sit for 5 minutes, restart and run until all smoke is gone. So all of this is confusing to me and help from you and others is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

As a preventative maintenance issue, I would definitely recommend changing the oil, AND, possibly the spark plugs (inspect plugs). And, yes, you may possibly "foul" the O2 sensors. In fact, when this procedure is performed at a local Dealership, most service techs are instructed to change out both oil, and, plugs to help ensure optimum performance after service. Good luck to you.
I've been using this stuff for years on all of my cars, great product. I have been told to run the car for 100-300 miles after dumping it in the crank case, been doing it without any problems so far. I haven't changed plugs after doing it and haven't noticed any ill effects from it.

I plan too use it to clean out the top end by pouring it in the brake booster vacuum port. Not in the oil, but thank you for your input if I decide to put some in the oil at a later date.
