Default Great deal @ Costco

I was in Costco earlier today, and they have a nice 1 1/2 ton aluminum low rise jack, 2 aluminum 3 ton jack stands, and an 8 wheel creeper, all for $99.95!! Appears to be good quality (Torin), and the price is a steal!

did you checked harbor freight company?
I got a killer 3 tons alluminum low profile garage jack for $78.00
Creeper for $19.00 and the jacks are the cheap part.
then you get 20% off
worth to take a look

Drive up on a 2x8 and you will have no issue. I can get under the "puck" on the front sides no issue with the puck in. I drive up on 2 2x8's (staggered ghetto ramps) to get to the front crossmember.

I bought the Torin jack from Pep Boys for $69.99 back in March.

It certainly slides under the front of my stock height C5 OK but.... it does have a flaw. You cannot regulate the speed it comes down! Basically it'll drop the front end at full speed of gravity!

That may only be a problem with mine. I should've taken it back for replacement but I didn't.

Anyway, just wanted to warn everyone to try it out at full exstention under the car as soon as you get it home so you can immediately return it if its faulty.

Ya,i have some homemade ramps,it takes me 3 cycles with staggered ramps, then i can get the jack under there.
If you were to try to slide your foot under my rocker panel, just behind the front tires, you would just get a little past your toes before your foot got stuck...I love it that low.

Thanks for the jack info bro,i will still probably pick one up,it will eliminate one step in a 3 step ramp procedure i need to jack up my car,2 less pieces of wood in the trunk too.
