Column Lock
02 6 Speed had column lock recall done in 04, even though it never locked up.
A couple days ago, it locked up but the engine started. SHut it off and jiggled it for a couple minutes before it came loose. Works fine now.
Thoughts, opinions, suggestions?

Opinions....It will lock up again without the CLB and anyone that has this happen to them after all that has been said here on CF .... well, there's just no excuse! You have been warned!
Suggestions... Get a CLB!
The GM recall will not fix the problem on a C5 with a MN6....

I just met a gut today who has a manual tranny C5 and recently suffered the column lock gremlin at Eureka Springs. He had the stealership fix, only to see it bite again last week. He's now getting someone to put in the CLB.

If you have a six-speed...Remember...there are only two kinds of Corvettes...those that HAD their column lock up...and those that WILL have their column lock up!!!!!
