O.K., just wanted to get some quick opinions. I have some form of petroleum based (rainbows when the pavement is wet) fluid leaking from the engine compartment of my car. Relative to the front wheels and the center of the car, the "drip point" is approximately 8" left of center (towards driver side) and approximately 8"-12" behind the front axle. Seems too far forward for brake fluid (I'm running Super Blue, and what is coming out is a light brown). I checked my engine oil level (what I think it really is) and it seemed to be fine. What could it be if it is engine oil and in the location described?
Anyone out there with an idea, let me know. I'll be calling Chevy next week for an appointment, but any prior knowledge or experience would be helpful. Definitely a not a rear end leak, it's just behind the line of the front axle.
Thanks!
Z
