Need help guys! This shift **** is tall. What is the trick to get it down on the shift lever far enough to engage the transmission. Is there a way to adjust the boot down to allow more room?

Thanks,

Chuck - I'm not sure that I understand your question. Do you have a 6 speed or an auto? Which Momo **** do you have?
Pics would help a lot. I'm a dumba$$ and I need pics....Help us help you!
Randy, It is an Auto. Momo only makes two (Chrome and Leather) and they are configured the same. When I place it on the shift lever, it is resting on the top off the shift boot(white plastic retaining collar before it is coming in contact with the pin in the shift lever that must be depressed to move the shifter through the gears.
Unfortunately, I can't help much as I have an MN6 in my car, so I have no experience with the auto. Maybe the pics of the shifter top assembly dissasembled will help. Sorry....

Chuck - I looked at the Momo web site - is the **** the Automatico?
One source that you might check with - try sending a P.M. to Tuan Le at Litewarehouse (I know he sells Momo). Maybe he can send you an installation guide or give you a tip. https://www.litewarehouse.com/catalo...e27dfe8ba4cf05
Another is to try Momo's customer service and see if they have any solutions. Maybe there's an adapter that you need so that the **** itself doesn't have to go so far down to make contact with the threads. http://www.momo.com/momoeng/set1.html
Beyond that - I have no other suggestions. I'm sure that someone here on the Forum has encountered something similar. Now that you have pics and your problem is really clear, maybe someone else will chime in.
