Default TYBRNE Conclusion

See thread:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...6&forum_id=103

Good day all,
Well I canceled my order with them. I cannot afford to wait much longer on this issue. We purchased from Mid America and the part will be delivered tomorrow ($80 cheaper) (yes next day). So much for this.
We were given options; all of which arent acceptable to my standards. (probably to anyones standards) As far as the card goes; TYBNE is correct; there was a hold on the credit card but it has been released over 2 weeks ago.

Options per Tom email:
"The system can be dropshipped but we usually don't offer that because most people don't want to pay the additional $75. drop ship fee. We had a Corsa order go together this week so that should be arriving here in about a week. Yes, it will be longer than the estimate that you were given and I apologize for that. NY would only be about 2 days away."

..So if I were to stick with this order; I wouldnt see a part for at least another 7 days.

A mental note:

TYBRNEs slogan; Every Second Counts.. Yea, mine... Not yours.

Wow, you actually got to talk to someone there. They would not even retun my phone calls or Emails...

They have been on my black list for quite some time...

Peace

One has to wonder about all the Tybrne "SALE" threads on here.

Geez all this bashing, I give Tom props for being on the forums and intouch with his clientelle. This sounds like an isolated incident. I wouldnt black list a vendor this quick.

Glad youre getting your parts though.

I've never dealt with them, but I'm sorry you two weren't able to reach an agreement.

Reading through the threads, one would surmise that there were other "isolated incidents" as well. Do you feel lucky?

Always a tough situation when working with a vendor that "doesn't get it." Glad it worked out well for you.

Maybe you should do a search for this company on here..they have more negative feedback on this forum than good. The problem is that the good customer service ratio to thier bad customer service, is unexceptably too close.

Sorry that you had such a bad experience w/ them. I've dealt w/ Tbyrne numerous times buying stuff for my Fbodies. I have nothing but positive experiences to speak about.

I'm not making excuses, but everyone has a bad day occasionally.

At least you were able to get your part in the end (and cheaper to boot).

Guess it comes down to, if the part is in stock.

If they tell you 1-2-3 or any week; Id think twice about using them.

Its not the getting the part that was the issue; its the timeframe as to when a company tells you something vs when you actually receive it. I mean your playing with people's cars. (In my case; mine is out-of-commisstion until I get an exhaust.) And given that, once it isnt in the scope of the timeframe that was discussed; there wasnt any option that was suitable in keeping a customer happy and avoid further discussions like this.

A Customer Service related company would eat the cost to ensure the customer is satisfied. Although in this case; it wasnt an option. Thus I give this company a F for Customer Service.

Indeed. Seems most of the "Sales" are more expensive than a lot of other vendors regluar prices.

Dah.....shop around guys and don't just jump on an item because someone says it's "On Sale".....

I have checked into "Group Purchases" before with some of these vendors only to find the same thing else where at the same price or cheaper and I didn't have to wait. Don't fall for the "On Sale" trick.

Wow, I'm so glad this review was posted. They'll be losing out on a ton of sales from me.

I dunno what happened to the other thread, but I have to chime in and agree w/ corvettego --

STAY AWAY FROM PFYC.com !!!!!!

I recently purchased from them and screwed. Their customer service attitude is very reminiscent of Tbyrne's. Egotistical and cocky. Not the type I'm going to be spending my money with.
