Okay, so my memory is not quite what it used to be.
Finally got the car home and it actually has a red console cover with black carbon fiber trim on the sides. Wifey decided she likes it and will keep it (the car and the cover, lol). Not sure what brand it is, but if anyone is interested I can take it off and see if there is a brand name on it.

Great pics of the Mid America console covers. These interior pieces are also reasonably priced, too!

Your cover is from Mid-America and it sells new for $99. There is another design with the checkered flag design that sells for $129. The brand name or maker is call Performance Choice which is a offshoot company of Mid-America I believe.
PS. Just a tip from Illinois members. You can buy the same products that Mid-Ameirca sells regarding these interior pieces from West Coast Corvettes to avoid paying taxes. Although I try avoid to buy from Mid-America because of taxes, sometimes they are the only ones who carry certain products. ,so my choice sometimes are limited.

Here is one negitive......I just recently took mine off because it sits up much higher than the stock one and my elbow was hitting it when making a right turn. This could be a problem in an emergency situation or for road/auto crossing. On a positive note.....it is sooooo much more comfortable!

By the way, I love my new cover and they did give me a new strip. I know JD's looking for the carbon fiber console cover but here's my new cover in case JD's C5 changes his mind.
The first pic is what mrm1149 is trying to post I think and the second/third pic is my new cover.

I know it does not look as taut/tight as my old one, it is tight but because of the checkered flag, it has more stitches where the leather are pulling against each other.
Jaime

Very nice....I like it!!!

I think you are right the other one in the book says it is Accented it has what looks like a cord going all around the cover where the one like you sold is all flat around the cover.I guess they are easy to install just taking a few screws out and replacing the original with this one.

Hi charlene -

Yes - they are very easy to install - just a few screws - you do have to remove the console lid to install the cover - but that is an easy job.

I have the checkered flag one with red accents in our 99 coupe -

I was concerned that it might be too tall, but as it turned out, it is very comfy and a great addition to the car. It makes it more comfortable to drive.

best regards -
