Lowering the car
Should I notice any difference after lowering my stock 97 C5 1"?
I'd do a search for it but at this point on the forum the search function is missing from the forum.

You will like the look. One inch will not be that bad. And, yes, the server on this website has been slow and faulty the past few days.

Make sure you get an alignment after it settles for a couple of hundred miles!

You can get about 3/4" - 1" on stock bolts I believe, depending on your suspension.

I have the Z51 suspension myself and got a minimal drop off of the stock bolts. It was almost unnoticeable to me even though I waited over a couple of weeks and a few hundred miles for it to settle. I got maybe 3/4" and probably more like 5/8" drop. I ended up getting longer bolts for the rear and completely removing the front bolts. After that and putting in Bilstein sport shocks I was happy with the look. Click on my sig pic for a larger view of what it looks like.
