Hood Liner

Where can I buy a new hood liner and the plastic retainers? About how much are they?

They are expensive to ship due to thier size/weight ratio...
Best place is a local dealer...
Check with Gene at Fred Beans and use that to negotiatie locally

GM PartsDirect has the Hood Insulator (p/n 10285631)for $65 but the shipping is $100! What's strange is they don't show the retainers in their parts catalog. IIRC, they are only a couple of bucks each but you need 15

Try Bob at Fichtner Chevy or Gene at Fred Beans. I think the liner runs about $85.

How old is your liner and why are you replacing it? For about $300 you can get an awesome liner with embroidered C5 logo and the edges will never seperate and it just looks so much better then the original cheap looking liner. Go to carmotorsports.com

Your chevy dealer has hoodliners and retainers.If they do not have them in stock it usually takes them a few days to get them.The liner runs alittle over $100 dollars and the retainers might run somewhere over a dollars each.Some of the guys on the forum may have other places to get the retainers for less money.and i am sure they will chime in and help.......

Are these those "HELP" parts? Got a part number for them?? Going to drop by teh local AutoZone today and I need all 15 retainers. They probably will not have anywhere near enough in stock.
