I just put them on and the top of the tips are touching the plastic. How do I push them down???? Nothing is working. I am sure they arent supposed to touch right????
No, they are not supposed to touch the plastic. Melted plastic is not a good thing. Undo the clamp after the axle loop and before the actual muffler and lift up on the rear of the muffler or that just loosened joint and then retighten equally. That should work - or not.
I think you have to loosen up the bolts that connect the cat-back from the h-pipe/x-pipe. Right before the rear axle. Have some one help ypu by holding the tips in the right position and tighten the bolts. This should be it. I have to realign mine after the header/x-pipe install. Good luck

Yes....like Last C5 said, you need to loosen the last set of clamps by the axle joint. After you do this, you actually want to lift up and out on the S bend before the exhaust tips. This will cause the tips to drop down away from the plastic. I messed with my Borla stingers a lot, before finally getting them just right.
Good Luck-DD
