I think I'm going to do it with the factory bolts and see if that lowers it enough. I'm wonder if you guys that have done this are happy with the results. I know I can go lower with after market parts but I'm not sure I need to go that route. I know its all personal taste as far as how low you go, but thought I would anyway.
I'm going to do mine on the stock bolts on Thanksgiving day. I know there is a short writeup in the tech section but does anybody have a link to a bigger writeup with pictures?
I lowered mine on stock bolts and it wasnt enough, but i was looking for the slammed look, try it see if you like it if not you can always go lower, id suggest getting new shocks, i have bilstzines and i love them. good luck

Thanks for the responce. How many miles did your Vette have when you replaced the shocks? Did you notice a big difference?
I lowered mine all the way on the stock bolts, I would like it a little lower but I'm scraping the air dam all the time. I know it's a cheap part to replace so like you said it's personal preference.
try the stock bolts before you go aftermarket. and when you do lower it go for a ride and let it settle. when i did mine it looked like stock. i took it for a ride and dropped about 3/4 of an inch. i decided to go with the longer bolts in the rear after all and love the way the car looks now.
Let me know if you need a hand. I'm about 15-20 minutes from Fullerton...
BTW, if you don't like it. You can always reverse it, as long as you don't cut the front bushings.

Thanks for the offer Dave! I have an appointment at WCC tomorrow to have them do it. I gues I'll just use the stock bolts for know and see how that works.
