I just purchased my first Z06 (2004). It has a modify Air Induction and I upgraded the plugs and wires. It also has a upgraded shifter. I would like to know what would should I do next to fit in with what has already been done?
Thanks Tom
From: Los Angeles, CA.... I know a guy who has a Lambo with Corvette doors
Take it to the track where you can have some fun, & find out the capabilities of the car . Of course this time of the year, events are kinda winding down, well good luck anyways .
Put on a nice set of headers. Don't forget to have the car tuned by a top tuner when you're done with the modifications. To realize the real increases, you should not forget about this.
Get use to the car first!! Don't get to crazy yet. A good driver can make all the difference in the world. But I agree, Long Tubes would be next buy, then a Cat Back.
Congratulation! I just purchased my first vette (2004 Z06 also) about a month ago. I have been looking at items to modify to increase performance. Then my wife said, "take the money you would spend on 'stuff' and go take a driving course. When you can handle what you have, then increase performance." Smart woman, I have signed up for a driving course at Infineon Raceway. Best of luck, enjoy your car.

Excellent idea! I took a 3-day racing school at Lime Rock a la Skippy and let me tell you, it was worth it. Best part was getting to beat the crap out of real race cars that didn't belong to me!
