I use water and white vinegar. I apply it with a cotton towel scrub it up and then I polish the glass with micro fiber towel. Cleanest I have ever gotten a window.

Everyone's got their own way of cleaning glass and I'm no exception. For years I've used most cleaners with various levels of success.
I was at Walmart and discovered that they carry Stoner's Invisible Glass spray. I gave it a try and it worked pretty well.
I use the following items in order:
Clean with Stoner's
Adams Detail Spray
Adams Butter Wax (any paste or liquid wax will do)
Adding the wax step is something I learned from this forum. I was reluctant at first but I thought; why shouldn't the glass benefit from the same protectants used on the paint? The results are spectacular! absolutely crystal clear inside and out, no streaks at all, and no more fog on the inside.
I'm surprised more people don't use the mircofiber towels. I tried several products, Perfect Glass was the last one with paper towels. Paper towels apparently don't cut it with any cleaners, always streaks. All I use now is a microfiber cloth and wring every drop of water out of it No more streaks, and when you don't see them in the sun, you don't have any. Works for me anyway.
I had a lot of problems with window streaks until my neighbor told me to use a foaming glass spray and crumpled newspaper. Works unbelieveably well. Even on tinted windows.
For anyone out there with a connection in the food business. Try a SYSCO glass cleaner. There is two, a liquid spray bottle and a foam spray can. The foam seems to be a better choice in my eyes. Both are safe on any plastic surfaces as well. They are non ammoniated environmentally safe products. This glass cleaner is awesome. Its designed to cut down on finger prints and to not leave streaks on the doors of restaurants from the littls kids touchinig them. It even works better on car windows!!! Just my two cents worth
So far I have had the best results with Sprayway glass cleaner and a PakShak Waffle Weave Micro Fiber Glass Towel. I was using Stoners and it is a very good product but seem to get better results with the Sprayway, AND it is less expensive. Found Sprayway at Sam's, forget what I paid but it came in a 3 or 4 pack. If you really want to get into the nitty gritty of glass cleaning get your hands on Guru Reports-The Glass Cleaner Test- 25 products tested. I think they did this report in '03 or something like that. A very good report about 30 pages or so. They also did one of these test on car waxes. A VERY good read for us **** car nuts. By the way, their UNBIASED reports were as follows: EDITORS CHOICE
1st Place - Bon Ami Glass & Surface Cleaner
2nd Place - Turtle Wax Clearvue Auto Glass Cleaner
3rd Place - Sprayway Glass Cleaner
EDITORS CHOICE - Mothers Glass Cleaner
Hope this helps and best of luck

Learned about Stoners here on the forum - works great! Should have seen the guys face at Target when I asked about Stoners. His reaction made my wife and daughter crack up!
