Talk about timing! Washed the car, took it for a quick spin around the block and parked it outside for about 30 minutes. Now it won't start, everything is clicking, flashing. Tried jump starting the battery, no luck!
Since our driveway is at an incline, we didn't dare to push it in the garage ourselves thinking we would do some damage to the rear. How do we push this in?
I hate leaving it out all night but we disconnected the battery and locker her up.
Same thing happened to me, good thing it was at home and not out somewhere where you need a tow, Is your driveway inclined twards or away from the garage? when we pushed it we just put it in nutral and had someone steer it in and to break to stop it once it was in the garrage, good luck

I don't understand what you are concerned with. How can pushing damage the rear of the car? Put the car in nutral, put someone in the drivers seat to steer & brake, get several friends and push.

After we were steaming last night over what happened, I guess we jumped the deep end and wigged out over pushing the car and doing something else to it! Mike was concerned because of the fiberglass and pushing on it. Cut us some slack, we are first-time corvette owners.
I am off to the auto part store this morning and pray that a new battery will take care of the problem.
Drove the Vette, came home and the starter only clicked. I had the battery (new) checked and it was ok, but when I reinstalled it I noticed the positive cable was corroded. Cleaned it with a wire brush and a little sand paper and it is back to normal.

My 02 vert sits in the garage (22k Miles) clean 95 % of the time. I went to start it a couple months ago. NUTTIN ! Didn't even check anything. Popped the hood, pulled the battery, went to local Super Store bought new one. Cleaned cables/terminal area and presto. Don't even think I had to reset the radio stations or anything for that matter.
