As long as the snow in my driveway is not more than 3 inches or I didn't plow it, I will take the vette. It is even more fun when I am sitting at work watching the flakes fall knowing I have to drive the vette home! For those of you that are afraid of the snow, the vette drives just fine in it. As for the salt, believe it or not- it washes right off!
I wish I could, but with an average snow fall somewhere around 150" I can't get mine out of the garage. As a matter of fact, there are days I can't get my 4wheel dirve truck down the driveway. Last year 220" of snow. So to answer the questions ----- NO!!!!!

now....that said, i plan to drive the vette this winter on cold, clear days. call me a wussy but the vette typically does not see rain (my wipers will last forever) and sure as heck will not be out in snow or ice unless our dd honda is in the shop. bub
Hey Bub! I traded Santa Ana winds, tornados, mud slides, wild fires, earthquakes, snow, ice, sub-zero temperatures and all of the other other geographic and climatic disasters for perfect 300+ days of convertible weather and sunshine. I know folks will say what about the 100+ days of >100 degree heat - but you never have to shovel sunshine and heat off your driveway! Besides, one of these days - Phoenix is going to be ocean front property!
I grew up and lived in Chicago all my life except for the last 14 years, so I know (although I keep trying to forget!) about all that miserable winter crap. Now about as close to that as I get is seeing the couple of days per year when there's snow on top of the Four Peaks which is about 70 miles away.
I really do sympathize with all of you that have to put your beauties away for the winter. I wish all my Forum brothers and sisters a warm hearth, a cozy blanket and a hot adult beverage to sip on. Like summer in Arizona - it's only a couple of months.....
I will be driving mine here in Indy. I love not having to clean the bugs off the car everytime I drive it in the winter. We don't get very much snow around here so most of the time the roads are clear. Maybe at most about a month that the roads might be too messy.
Initially, I was going to put it in hibernation for the winter but I've since decided to take it out on a nice day; salt, sand, ice, and snow will be the only reason to keep it indoors.

I thought all C5's come with a plow for snow 3 inches and under?
