Default Stickers on visors

I know this is probably a dumb question but I'm gonna ask any way. Has anyone had any luck removing the stickers from the visors? I want them gone just not sure which way to try first, steam, adhesive remover or something else.

Many Thanks, I knew there had to be an easy way. Think I'll do it when I get up in the morning.

I used the wifes hair dryer and a twezers to pull them off. Be careful not to get to close to the visor material. Then I used some spray brake cleaner to clean up the visors. Yes, brake cleaner. I bought a can for $1.00 at Auto Zone. Removed all the adhesive residue, didn't leave any oily residue like some products, and evaporates within a few minutes of use.

I sprayed it on a clean white terry cloth and rubbed it over the left over adhesive. My visors look like they never had the stickers.

Trust me it works great.

Hair dryer to soften then pull from a corner. They should come off relatively easy.

Heated them with a hair dryer for about 90 seconds and they pulled right off, and left little to no adhesive behind.

Cleaned the visors with a cloth and some alcohol and now you can't tell the stickers were ever there.

Good luck.

When I bought my car, I noticed that one was already missing. I waited until a very warm day and the other one peeled off no problem.

...unless it is a 2004 or perhaps even a 2003. GM changed the adhesive they used and it is a lot harder to remove than on the previous years. I worked and worked on mine using the hair dryer and GooGone and even the duct tape and you can still see a little adhesive residue.

Tried to remove mine a while ago, (2004) and a lot of glue still there . I gotta come up with something to try that won't screw up the cloth of the visor.

It's a sad day when we have to have warning signs plastered all over our vehicles to tell us how to protect ourselves, when in reality all they protect is the manufacturer from being sued.

You don't need anything!!!! Get a corner started, hold the visor, and PULL VERY VERY SLOWLY!!! Have done this on several cars, with NO problems.

I have an 04. At first I tried the corner/tweezer approach. It's do-able, but really takes patience. After about 10 minutes of this, I tried the hair drier/tweezer approach and they were all off in about 5 minutes. I used a crumpled ball of duct tape to remove what little residue was left. Sure looks a lot better with them gone!!
