Well i was taking my wife to work this morning and a friggin german in a mid 80's 3 series BMW smashed into my vette. He turned into my lane and took out my front passenger side fender, bumper and cracked my hood. I pulled of the road and put on my hazard lights. and he took off. he almost took out another car running. i didn't get a plate # so i am screwed.
Well now i need new parts for my front end. What should i do now? Tigershark bumper? What kinda hood? I am stationed in Germany right now so corvette parts over here cost my insurance company lots of money, so i should be able to get aftermarket pieces cheaper than they can get OEM parts at the Opel dealer here.

Too bad you didn't get a license number. For the bumper, I'd get a Tigershark one. For the hood, look into the Motor City Mold heat extractor one. Both very nice.

Guess that just proves that all the A$$HOLES aren't on the roads here in the States - they are a world-wide menace!
Glad you weren't hurt.....
I agree with JD - Motor City Molds hoods and Tigershark front ends are among the best made and best looking of the aftermarket parts available. Good luck with the repairs.
Chances are, that route is the normal route that this guy takes to go to work. Go to the same area about 15 minutes before the incident occured, and wait. Chances are, you will see the same car drive past. Follow him, get his license plate number and call the cops and insurance. Tell them the story, and most importantly, you need to be able to tell the cops something like, "Yep, THat's exactly the guy I saw behind the well, Handle-bar mustache and everything". It needs to be something unique, otherwise they'll just pass it off. If helps if you can match up his bent fender with your scratch on your car so have the car with you, if possible, if not, take pictures of the guys car. He'll be real upset that your taking pictures, but do it! The cops will likely only give the guy a ticket.... So, you still need to get him to pay for damages. This is where you insurance agent come in. If they're not like 'my' state-farm agent(that didn't do anything when the teenager pulled in front of me), they'll put one of their litigation croonies on the case.
Good luck to you, and try not to think about killing the guy when you find him.
