Does anyone know where I can find just the white headlights for a '04 Z06? I'm not looking for the whole assembly, just the bulbs. The stock bulbs just look too dull and I'd like to go with the white-type lighting. Where can I find the best pricing on them? Thanks.
I got a set of Silverstars from Wal-Mart (Low+High Beam)for about $75.00 if I remember correctly. They are about the best you can get for the price. HID's are great but very expensive.
Alright, thanks a lot. Is the 9005 and the 9006 what I should be looking for? How hard was the install? Will this change the lighting in a drastic way?

Yes, those are the correct part #'s. There is a mod some folks have done useing the Low beam in the high beam side for a brighter high beam but you must mod the bulb connection and add a rubber spacer. Do a search if you are interested. The install is very easy, just lift the hood, flip up the lights, remove the headlight shroud and unplug the old bulb and install the new. You may hive to adjust your beam and will need a female torx bit to do so but maybe you will, maybe you wont. You will notice a difference and a brighter light but it will not be as bright as HID's. Lets just say that if you parked your vette by someone who has stock bulbs their's would look yellow and yours would look white.
i had the silverstars and they did give much better light then the stock lamps. then i switched to the revxtreme 5k HID lights and they just blow them both away, they even work better then my infiniti that came with xenon, those lights look dim now.
Is the revextrema a brand or the shop where you can buy these lights. So I take it you are talking about the HID conversion and not just replacing the bulbs???

I have the same kit and love it. The best $350 I've ever spent on this car. Uses stock housings, replaces bulbs and adds ballasts. Plug-and-play system, it's very easy to install.
The PIAA Extreme White bulbs are much brighter and whiter than the stockers. They match the color temp of the PIAA 1100 driving lights also. I highly recommend both, if you have the means.

I bought a set of Silverstars for my '04 Z06 today and installed them. Lights are definitely whiter and brighter. I am curious about a statement made above about some having modified to install the Lo beam in the hi beam socket for brighter light. Wouldn't that be the other way around ... modifying to put the hi beam bulb in the lo beam socket? The pacakage the Silverstars came in says the lo beam bulbs are 1,000 lumens while the hi beam bulbs are 1,700 lumens. Seems like putting the lo beam bulbs in the hi beam sockets would provide less light while putting the hi beam bulbs in the lo beam sockets would provide more light?

You are correct The mod is to put a high beam in the low beam socket. I have done this and does seem to make a good difference. Pretty cheap mod.
