I want some more low end power as well as a quicker 0-75 response from my 2000 Automatic Vette. I am 24 so my money is somewhat limited but I have been looking at the following. All help or opinions appreciated
1) HP Twin turbos ( have yall seen the video of these on a c5?)
2) Magna Charger (I imagine this would be a improvement over twin turbos)
3) Vortech Supercharger (probably rather have a Magna Charger)
Doesn't matter that you are 24, so am I. As long as you want a faster car, money will always seem 'limited'.
As for your mods, your budget, ballpark, would help greatly.
Also, is your car stock?
Good luck.
You might like to check out the C5 Forced Induction/Nitrous section of the Forum. Some knowledgeable people hang out there and you can glean some good info from them. Good luck with the mods!
Here are just a few suggestions to ponder upon: Top engine rebuild (cam, air intake, and, heads), plus, long tube headers, over axle exhaust, and, a tune would be great. Then, add the supercharger, and, rear gears. In fact 3:73 rear gears are standard on the new C6 Z06 427, and, are great on a daily driver. Now, for a dedicated race car, 3:90, OR, better yet, 4:10 rear gears, would be best. Best of luck to you.
First, do a 3:42 or 3:90 rear end. That will definitely give you beter 0-75 times.
Then lower your temps! Got hedders? Hy-flow cats? good axcel back? The big , intake is good but one things leads to another you should do the things in order so you can maximise your investment $$$ Let her "breath" COMPLEATLY,

Help??
Nope, Magna Charger is limited do to size of the blower. Your doing good hitting 550rwhp with this unit. This is a lot less money to do.
TTiX is awesome for the money its a little more than your 10k but not much. You have to keep the boost down on a stock motor. Great if you want to upgrade later and your wanting a lot more growing room.
Call ECS and Chris or Doug will put you in the right direction.

TT's will provide better power across the RPM range, but they are much more expensive than the SC.
I would start with a 3.42 or 3.73 rear and a high-stall torque converter. See how you feel about your 0-75 after that. If you want even more performance, then start on the engine.

I would start with a good hand held programer, and *160 thermostat It will also alow you to beef up your shifts and R.P.M.S........Really! then big intake including that LS6 intake, hedders, big cats X-Pipe, bullets, then prepare the car for all that juice your talking about shocks, break upgrade, plug wires, wire socks,THEN that supercharger! and please dont hurt us too bad!
