I' m going to purchased the B&B Bullet with Quad 4 tips. Do I need any special tools to do the job? I plan on scraping the old system. I read a thread that the car should be at lease 36 inches off the ground. Is that to get the old system off and out or the new system on.
If the Borla's assemble in a similar way as Corsa extra height isn't needed. You can just use jack stands if the original system will be thrown away. I wish I had of done that as it was a real PIA getting the car that high even on a Quicklift. I've no intention of ever using the original system again.

I removed my stock system this weekend. I had regular jackstands on top of 6" blocks of wood holding the car up on the bottom of the knuckles and it still wasn't high enough. Added two 4x4s to my full size floor jack to raise the back up another 6". Finally got the muffler to swing out but at that point the only thing holding the car up was the floor jack. Had the front wheels blocked to prevent any rolling. This is the point where being inpatient could cause car damage or personal damage. I would roll the front wheels onto a few inches of wood to keep the spoiler from being driven into the ground. Otherwise a lift is the way to go. Really a simple remove/install except for raising the car high enough. Once the old system was removed I lowered the car back on the stands so I could get under it to bolt the flange pipes on. It doesn't need to be very high to get the new pipes and mufflers on. If your going to use jacks you'll probably have to lift the car once to get it on jackstands and to unbolt the system. Then raise it higher while rotating the mufflers to get them over the axle.
