The right door control switch may be bad. These may cost between $90-$125 at the dealership. And, are made in Mexico for GM. Unfortunately, I have only one extra drivers side door control switch left which will not work being that you actually need the passenger side door control switch. However, do give Gene at the Karshop a call. And, he will be able to accomodate you for far less than the "stealership". Good luck to you.

the door controler is going tit's uplook with search and there is a fix posted, takes a small hole in part, some small finger nail files and some black tape. read it will work for a while. this will cost 300-400 at a dlr. call a local store. ask for service mgr, not a service writer!!!!! and see if they will negotiate a 20% over on parts and a 75% of flat rate labor pay. bet they will do this. if not ry a few. these guys have done hundreds of these. takes a good mech about 25 minutes from key turn to hading you the key. part is prob. $150. you didnt here this from me though.
p.s. noticed you have an 02 w/16k what is the in service date?? may still be under warranty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! check with dlr, have them run a g.m.v.i.s. gm vehicle in service date. keep fingers crossed could be covered. hey if not try with service mgr for a "good will' service.
