I installed the CLB yesterday and today I noticed that if I take the keys out for a while then when I go to start it I get the pull key message. Is this normal? My vette is a 97 A4

Shouldn't give you any message with the CLB installed. I too have heard that the '97-98 C5s may have some problems with the CLB. May want to talk with the vendor you got the item from and see what they say. Good luck.

You are in luck! The recall will completely take the column lock out of your A4, the automatic guys still have park for anti theft protection. This should not cost you a dime seeing as how it is a recall for all C5 vettes. Us 6 speed guys still have to put up with the column lock.
I had the recall done about a month ago. The steering wheel won't lock but the K harness is bad already. About a week ago I got the service column lock and when I went to drive it would just die so I had to hook it up back stock so I could drive it. I have read that the K harness is pretty much a junk item.
