Wheel hop solved....
For me at least~!
This passed Tuesday, a buddy of mine helped me install the C6 Z06 shocks... (Changed out the stock shocks, non-adjustable)
The car immediately felt/feels nice and tight through the turns... veeeery stable all around. Not such a rough ride, but a very good feel for the road.
But last night, I got the best result of all....
On a freeway transition I use quite a bit, there is a "good" seam... Usually, the car bunny hops a good 3-4 inches... This time, NO WHEEL HOP! I was expecting something, but the wheels felt like they never left the road.
Just wanted to throw this out there for anyone considering these. They are a great upgrade from OEM shocks.
Thanks toGene @ Fred Beans for an awesome deal and great service and to Dirty Red (Steve) for helping me install...(He actually did most of the work) This forum is theeeee best...

I'm not buying anything from the C6 ZO6....not the great brakes, not the great shocks, not the C6 ZO6 Rims, not the Shifter..........NOT ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!
Opps....I'm going to buy the whole damn car.........Patience is a virtue. I'll just wait and wait and wait......then before you know it, it will be in the garage. So for now the C5 Red FRC will stay as is.
Oh I did forget onething that I'll continue to update............the wax to keep it nice and glossy red. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hear ya Perry, but I'm gonna enjoy mine now... you can try as hard as you want to resist modding... But you will do something sooner or later.... and I'll know too
The Z is coming as well... in 2 years You're right... all we have to do is be a little patient. Gonna probably keep MVD, "'cause she's my first love..."
BTW, for 4 shocks under $200 to my door... it wasn't a tough choice...

Tires aren't extra... that's just maintanence... BTW, let me know what you want... I have a good tire guy local to me...
5 bills from $70k-ish is a drop in the bucket... you can do that in one OT shift
Those C6 Z06 shocks are looking better and better. Everyone who has them has given them rave reviews. Did you have any other shocks besides stock before these?? Thanks for posting up your review.
