Default Production Numbers For '04

I have a '04 ZO6. With RPO codes: AAB, B84, and 79U. My question is how many of the 629 79U models were manufactured with the AAB and B84 options???? Does anyone know were I can find this info.???

Thanks

GM didn't publish final production numbers by combinations like you're wanting. They only published the numbers for each option by type of vehicle; i.e., coupe, vert, FRC/Z06. The model year 2004 numbers can be found at the links below. Using these numbers and extrapolation you may only come up with an "guesstimation" at best.

Thanks for the response. We were at the Funfeast last year and one vendor was showing folks the production number data. He was also paging through a GM manual for C5's from '98-2002 showing folks how many of each color and options combo's were made. All the people had to do was provide their VIN # and he looked up there info. He would mail them a certificate with their VIN, name and build number data for a fee. Having worked in the Auto industry for 38 years and some time on the assembly plant side, I know that its possiable to find this data. As all build sheet data is in the bank somewhere. The build sheet is printed, scheduled in the body shop, then paint dept. Trim dept. and finally Chassis. All build sheets are kept by Federal law for safety and recall issues. These records contain the data I'm looking for from GM. As an ex-employee of GM, currently working for FORD, I have been able to talk with scheduling here and they are able to pull such data up. (ex. Mustang, F250, Explorer data). Scheduling and our computer whiz's were able to put it together in less than an hour. This would be great data to have from GM. We have over 7,000 employees at this plant and there is over 430 CORVETTE owners here. Last year we had a drive your Vette to work day and it drove upper managemnet nuts. The Assissent plant manager is from GM and drove his ZR1. If someone can get access to the build sheets, I can have the programmers pull the data that GM already should have.

Thanks

Yes, I feel quite certain too that GM has the information in one of their data bases somewhere and a programmer with the needed access to their data base could write a sort program to bring up the combinations of data like you are wanting fairly quickly. Of course, the key here is getting access to GM's data base.

The question you pose gets brought up about once a month or more here on the Forum and I have yet to see anyone here that could provide info on how to get information on the combinations of data like you are wanting. All that I've ever seen anyone here able to provide is the final productions numbers like in the two links above. The one link for numbers is directly to the the Bowling Green Assembly Plant web site and this is all that I have seen them publish too.

You can order a reproduction copy of your car's build sheet from the National Corvette Museum, so I would assume that they have inquiry access to the build data. However, to my knowledge, they do not provide any service to provide combinations of data either: Build Sheet Order Form

Personally, I would be quite skeptical of any private individual selling combination data like this without some way of authenticating his data source. Otherwise, he might well be using data from a site like one of the above to extrapolate the data. And, without some way to authenticate the data, who would be any the wiser?

If you should find someway to get access to this type source data that can be authenticated, please share with the folks on the Forum. I'm sure that a good number of people here would greatly appreciate it.

Good luck.

Contacted a friend who now works at he proving grounds. He agrees that GM has this information. But he will try to find someone who can pull this from their system. He said to give a couple of weeks.
