Awesome vid!!! I love in-car vids of real racing. Like that M3 also My best friend just bought a 2000 M5. Havent seen it yet. But I Bought my vette 4 days later lol. Might have to go see him today just so we can check out eachother's new rides.
I'm going to have to save up for some nice sticky tires, some bilstien HD's, and a nice set of pads and go try that myself.
Notice I didnt see any love for that gold Trans Am. was he pretty quick? I know a few guys that race camaros out at Motorsport Ranch outside of Fort Worth.

Shane
He got faster and really started utilizing that 295mm race compounds out of the tight corners; I couldn't get on the throttle as fast because of my limited traction on my street tires. I'm on race compounds next season; I've never driven with them before; so, I'm excited. I've rode with some guys with them on, and it's a whole new world. The videos should get more interesting .
the TA has this...
"The car is a 98 TA with most of the interior removed, bolt in Wolfe 6pt roll bar, essentially stock drivetrain (aftermarket airbox and catback exhaust), C5 front brakes, Koni SA all around, GC front coilovers, Kumho V710 or Toyos RA1 tires."
If you haven't been to the track; you don't know what you are missing...
It is a shame how many people who own Corvettes will not go to the track. The ones who get me are those who are afraid of the track but will drive dangerously fast on the street.
The first time I ran Road Atlanta I was basically stock, other than the egine. There I was running a 600 HP C5R-427 & couldn't keep up with much slower cars. Now I am running with Dilusi Stage III Racing Brakes, Hotchkis Stabilizer Bars, QA-1 Adjustable Shocks, CCW Track Wheels, Nitto NT-555RII R-Compund Tires (285/35 ZR18 & 305/35 ZR18). Huge difference!

that's Barber Motorsports Park; Birminghan, AL. Requirements: Your car has to be tech inspected - there's a check list. That's basically it, besides money
Looks like a smooth, wide track. Do you have a link for the track & this type of event?
