Default 2-tone steering wheel re-wrap...where to go for it

Has anyone used the 2-tone wrap service from West Coast Corvettes? In the pictures it looks like they just wrap the coloured leather over the existing black area? Anyone have any experience with that service?

Take a look at this as an alternative:

http://www.wheelskins.com/

Although I don't have any experience with either WCC or Wheelskins products, I've read posts from members that the Wheelskins are really high end quality. These covers fit over the wheel and typically are laced on.

For top of the line.....take a look at the Vette Essential website. Full custom wheel replacement

Thanks Barry. I prefer to go with a re-wrap service as opposed to lacing a cover on the existing wheel...just think it looks er

I will definately check Vette Essentials though...

If you are interested in just the skin, why not put it on yourself. I have this one on my car. Install took about 2 hours to actually do the stiching but I love the results. I've received several compliments on the work.

The cost savings is substantial.

Here is a photo of my wrap installed.

Paul

The photo makes the skin job look worse than it does in real life.

I have the Vette Essentials steering wheel on my car - top quality, no doubt about it.

I have the 2 tone leather Wheelskins cover on mine. According to the instructions, it should only take about 45 minutes to install, but it took me around 2 hours! Anyway, it turned out looking just like the photo on the box, and nobody thinks it looks cheap or cheasy. Personally, I like mine.

This is the one I have. Adds a place for your thumbs, much better than any stock recover. Caravaggio Corvettes.com

I have not seen much feedback on WCC steering wheel re-wraps so I will be watching this closely. The cost looks very reasonable.

I have a Vette Essentials tuo tone. Real high quality leather. Easy to install if you have the right steering wheel puller. I recomend you talk to Ken King or visit his web site. Nothing wrong with Caravaggio either, well maybe their price is the highest. You get what you pay for as they say.
