Go with a vinyl in each and see if you would even like it on your car. I know you can't achieve the ghost with vinyl, but at least you would have an idea. I think this might save you some headaches or regrets later down the road. Just an idea im throwin out there
Flames have been part of cars since the early 50's I think they will always be around and always be "in". Tough part is deciding what you want and then finding someone who can do a good job.
Some flame jobs are due to lack of planning....true fire is another fad that I think will stick around for a while.
Dont forget....you need to do what you like and not care about how others feel unless they are going to help you pay
Just be sure it's breathing fire like the one I had on my '76 Trans Am...
Dig, that's what I was talking about. I had a 74 w/ the firebird on the hood, and then a silver 75 with nothing. It' didn't even have the Trans AM stickers. It was a classy looking car. Even back then, I went with slightly wider tires on the back and slotted aluminum wheels. Kind of the way our tire setup is on our C5's.
I agree that you should do whatever you want to do with your Corvette!! I very much favor doing the American flag theme, and we've done that with our 2002 Electron Blue with Torch Red interior and white top convertible. It seemed only appropriate with that color combination, and we still love it 2-1/2 years later! By the way, it was done in vinyl graphics so are not permanent!
The nice thing about custom paint is you can do whatever you like. The options are your budget and imagination. There are plenty of shop that can do a good job. But you do need to do some research so you get what you want. Make sure the painter and you are on the same page.
I would be happy to do some paint work for you if you are in my area.
