+ b&m precision....- 2nd gear
installed the shifter yesterday. it drove and shifted fine besides being a little notchy. that night i made an agressive shift and screwed something up. either a shift fork or a synchro i suppose is keeping it from holding second. just my luck! 
anyone got an extra 6-spd in good shape laying around? i cant have any down time when i do the clutch and exhaust swap.

Is there a chance, that there's a shift stop in the B&M like in the hurst...and the block is stopping you from going fully into gear?

Ouch... sorry to hear this.. The tranny is notchy and doesn't like to be rushed.. especially when its not up to operating temps. What year C5 do you have... the shift forks were changed in mid 03 to steel from aluminum. You could have bent the fork...
