Headlight wouldn't pop up today...

Left my friend's house today and the right light wouldn't pop up! This happened to me once before, but it worked when I tried the 2nd time...Well today it didn't so I had to manually turn the ****.

I got home, shut them off and tried it again, IT WORKED FINE. How hard is it to replace the gear, or should I just have a shop do it? Not sure how much longer it will be working for

if it's not the gear you may have a loose electrical connection.

Replace the gear with upgraded brass, and DIY. Or you can use it as an excuse for some Breathless or Specterwerkes non pop ups.

I have a feeling the wiring might be loose now that u mention it...THANX! Oh and hey Bat those are some SWEEEEEEEEEEET lookin rims!

This is a common C5 problem. Definitely replace the plastic gears with the brass gears available through Ecklers and Mid America. Moreover, if the problem is not the gear (broken, stripped teeth), then it may be the headlamp actuator. Good luck to you.
