I am about 6'6" tall and fit just fine in the Vette. I read on a post that the seats can be lowered. Can anyone explainthe process? Every little bit of headroom helps.
One way to get a little deeper into the seat without too much hassle is to remove the springs at the rear of the cushion. You'll need to take the seat out to do it, but that's a pretty simple operation.

How much lower will that get you? I can fit OK... but not with a helmet on...
The bottom of the seat is pretty thin compared to most cars. I'm 6' and with the seat all the way back and as low as it will go, I have lots of headroom. In that position from the side all you can see is my head, no shoulders, so there is a ton of headroom.
I'm 6'1" and have a hair helmet when I go about 6 weeks without a haircut and I fit in there just fine.
Seriously though, I have read in the past where people actually have modified the seat tracks to make them sit lower. Seems kind of dangerous to me. I wish I had the full details on this mod for you. Someone here might
