IMO, you won't find a better hood than the Motor City Mold heat extractor hood. Its fit and finish is outstanding, and the looks are the best.

Hoods
There are lots of hoods out there. Fiberglass ones cost less, but you usually pay a price for fitment. I would certainly lean toward one that lets the engine compartment vent, especially if you live or drive in hot climates. I have heard of issues with VIS bit I bought one anyway and the fit was perfect. They offer three styles, they are made of carbon fiber and they cost less than most fibergalss ones- mine was $620. You will find pictures posted with each manufactuer.

I like the factory hood 
Can pick them up already painted too from the right sources. most are under $350 already painted. Cant remember the link off the top of my head though. They had lots of take-off parts.
