Jet-hot coating "heads up"

I recently bought a used set of b+b shorties for my car, they looked a little raspy, so I sent 'em to Jet-hot to be coated.
Now mine had a very small "tag" welded that had the e/o " etched in it.
It was VERY faint, and not really easy to see..
Got headers back,They look awsome!!!!
But,now no can see e/o # from all the paint layers
I am a little hesitant to install them now,I mean you can't even see the B+B writing
Just a heads up for anyone considering this,if it is important to you
If it ain't broke...........Break it
Btw, Jet hot's response........we've never had that problem before

Jet-hot does very nice work. It's just the badge being unreadable that frosts my xmas bells

In Ca., and many other states, any alteration to the intake or exhaust that is not c.a.r.b. rated are illegal and induce an immediate fail on visual inspection at smog intervals.
The e/o # is the executive order required that indicates they are in fact emissions legal.
Also, there is really nothing that proves they are manufactured by the co. (B+B,for example)that went through the process and expense of obtaining such #,without the tag which states B+B on it with the e/o#
There very well may be some shortie headers that are "technically" legal,i.e. exactly the same design, but may have not aquired this #,as I believe they are very expensive to get.
More Ca.
P.s. when bought new you recieve a sticker to put in your inner fender, but when bought used, these are hard to come by...and B+B won't reissue them
