I got my car last week. I really haven't had a chance tp inspected real good.
Just a little background to answer some question you guys would be asking...
I bought the car from a fellow in Utah. Prior to the purchase, an Insurance guy that works for my lender was flown to check on the car to verify its condition, mileage, driveability, and what not.
I flew to Utah to pick it up last week. I've never got the chance to talk to the owner, as he was out for Thanksgiving. So, I got my Z06 from his son.
Since I've got it, the car has been parked the whole time, due to the weather, and work.
Today I was waxing it, and I noticed a chrome sticker on the driver's side door frame that says National Corvette Museum Delivery. Bowling Green Kentucky.
Now, before I get too excited about it, I'd like to know how do I verify the authenticity of the sticker?
Is there anything on the VIN that I would be able to tell?
About. some NCM Delivery Registry? Link?
Thanks.
Delivery at the museum only means that the original buyer checked that option on the option sheet. He paid extra $500.00 to pick up the car at Bowling Green assembly plant and get a nice tour of the plant. There is more to it than that of course but does not add any value to the car. Don't know if that's what you were thinking?

I'm aware of the RC8 option doesn't add any value to the car. At least I've never heard of it here since I've been a member, but is definitely nice to know it was built with added attention to detail. In almost 4 years, this car has not been to the dealer for anything other than oil changes. (knock on wood)
