There is only one brightness control. Maybe your battery is going bad or you have a poor ground. It's best you check these items b4 taking anything apart. Good luck...

also check that nothing gnarly is coating the surface. I noticed mine looking dimmer and realized that the detail shop had left a bunch of Armourall substance all over the clear on the dash...
